Thermoforming
- process of forming a thermoplastic sheet into a three-dimensional
shape by clamping the sheet in a frame, heating it to render
it soft and pliable, then applying differential pressure to
make the sheet conform to the shape of a mould or die positioned
below the frame. Advantages: very fast production cycle, low
mould cost, production flexibility.
Quality
- the quality of the final product depends not only on the
care taken in the actual production process, but also on the
quality of the moulds used. The making of these moulds requires
high technical proficiency and reflects directly to the quality
of the final product. Therefore, Micropack decided to produce
most of the moulds used itself. Precision is thus guaranteed.
